Community Guidelines

ashgabattoday is a local event information and discovery platform for Ashgabat and related communities in Turkmenistan. The service is operated by the person or entity identified through the official Contact page.

By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an event, uploading content, saving an event, or contacting ashgabattoday, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines and the rules on this page.

ashgabattoday may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. The current version will be published on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are published means the user accepts the updated rules. If a user does not agree with the current rules, they should stop using the website and should not submit events or content.

ashgabattoday is provided as a free information service during the MVP stage. Ticketing, payments, refunds, paid organizer accounts, and paid promotions are not handled by the platform at this stage. Future monetization features may be introduced under additional terms.

The rules on this page are governed by the laws and public requirements applicable in Turkmenistan, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Users and organizers remain responsible for complying with all applicable laws, venue rules, safety rules, permissions, and official requirements.

Users are responsible for keeping their login information secure. Actions taken through a user account may be treated as actions of that user. Users should contact ashgabattoday if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.

Users must not create duplicate, fake, misleading, automated, or impersonating accounts, and must not pretend to represent an organizer, venue, institution, company, or person unless they have the right to do so.

Users must not attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, reverse engineer, bypass security, access restricted areas, introduce malware, scrape private areas, or interfere with the normal operation of ashgabattoday, its users, or its service providers.

ashgabattoday is not the organizer, host, sponsor, ticket seller, venue, security provider, transport provider, or official representative of any listed event unless this is expressly stated in writing.

We do not control and are not responsible for event safety, quality, legality, cancellation, pricing, availability, refund policy, venue conditions, organizer conduct, attendee conduct, or real-world circumstances at any event.

Event information may be submitted by users, organizers, partners, public sources, or automated tools. Although listings may be reviewed or formatted, ashgabattoday does not guarantee that event information is complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

ashgabattoday may collect account information such as email address, username, display name, authentication session data, saved events, submitted events, uploaded images, contact form messages, and technical information needed to operate and secure the website.

Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not visible to ashgabattoday. Contact form messages are sent privately through the configured server-side email provider. The destination inbox is not shown publicly on the website.

ashgabattoday may use infrastructure and service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Resend, analytics/performance tools, and future AI or moderation tools to operate, secure, review, and improve the service.

ashgabattoday may preserve, review, disclose, or provide account, submission, contact, technical, or security information when required by applicable law, lawful request, court order, official authority, safety concern, rights protection, fraud prevention, or platform security need.

Users may contact ashgabattoday through the Contact page to request correction, deletion, or review of personal information where applicable.

Users may submit ordinary social, cultural, educational, sports, wellness, business, creative, family-friendly, and community events if the event information is accurate and the submitter has permission to submit it.

Public-space events such as walks, running groups, football games, outdoor yoga, picnics, photography walks, or community meetups may be allowed if they are lawful, peaceful, non-political, non-religious, non-disruptive, safe, and compliant with any required permissions, venue rules, and public order requirements.

Users submitting events must confirm that they have the right or permission to submit the event details and any uploaded image, logo, poster, or other material.

Submissions must not contain false, misleading, defamatory, hateful, extremist, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, obscene, privacy-infringing, rights-infringing, malware-related, harmful, or illegal content. Submissions must not publish personal data of third parties without permission or include information that could endanger people, venues, organizations, or public safety.

All user-submitted events are reviewed before appearing publicly. Review may include human review, automated checks, AI-assisted screening, or a combination of these methods.

ashgabattoday may approve, reject, edit, format, translate, hide, archive, remove, restore, or permanently delete submissions, listings, images, accounts, or other content at its discretion, with or without notice, and without obligation to provide a reason.

ashgabattoday may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts, block abusive activity, limit submissions, or apply other protective measures if a user violates the rules, submits unsafe or misleading content, abuses the platform, or creates legal, technical, or safety risk.

The moderation standard for the MVP is conservative: when in doubt, ashgabattoday may reject, request clarification, or keep content unpublished.

Users keep ownership of content they submit. By submitting event information, text, images, logos, posters, or other materials, users grant ashgabattoday a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, publish, resize, crop, translate, adapt, distribute, and promote that content for the purpose of operating and promoting ashgabattoday and the relevant event.

Users confirm that they own or have all necessary rights and permissions to submit uploaded materials. If a copyright owner or authorized representative believes that content on ashgabattoday infringes their rights, they may report it through the Contact page.

People may share or distribute factual event information from ashgabattoday on their own websites, social pages, chats, newsletters, or other platforms when they include a link back to the relevant event page or to ashgabattoday. This permission supports ordinary sharing and attribution; it does not permit bulk copying of the database, copying protected images or posters without rights, or implying partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.

The ashgabattoday name, design, layout, event summaries, categories, formatting, databases, curated lists, logos, code, and platform materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, scraped, sold, or reused in bulk without permission, except where allowed by law or for ordinary personal sharing with proper attribution.

ashgabattoday may use automated tools, artificial intelligence, public sources, scraping tools, or data-processing tools to collect, classify, translate, summarize, format, screen, or review event information. Automated tools may make mistakes, and AI-assisted review does not guarantee accuracy, legality, safety, or suitability.

When ashgabattoday uses public-source event information, it should use factual details, short original summaries, source links, and corrected information where appropriate. Full third-party descriptions, articles, images, posters, logos, watermarked media, or protected materials should not be copied unless permission exists or another lawful basis applies.

Uploaded images or posters should be relevant to the event, reasonably clear, non-misleading, and free of unnecessary personal data, hidden advertising, rights violations, unsafe content, flashing effects, or prohibited material.

Event listings may include links to organizer pages, venue pages, ticket pages, social media accounts, maps, phone numbers, messenger channels, or other external resources. ashgabattoday does not control these external resources and is not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, privacy practices, safety, services, or changes.

ashgabattoday is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The platform does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device or browser, permanent availability of listings, absence of technical issues, or that all information will always be accurate, complete, current, or secure.

ashgabattoday may change, pause, limit, remove, archive, or discontinue features, listings, categories, accounts, or technical functions as needed for maintenance, safety, legal compliance, testing, or product development.

Use the Contact page to report incorrect event information, prohibited content, copyright concerns, privacy or data requests, safety concerns, technical problems, or general questions.

When reporting an event issue, include the event title or link, the problem, and any details that help ashgabattoday review the request. When reporting copyright issues, include enough information to identify the disputed content and your authority to make the request.

Source owners may request correction, attribution, limitation, or removal of publicly sourced event information. Reports should include enough detail to identify the event, page, source, disputed content, and the reporting person's authority or relationship to the issue.

ashgabattoday may review reports, request more information, correct listings, hide content, remove content, or take no action if the report is incomplete, abusive, unsupported, or outside the scope of the platform.
